The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday night’s drawing will be worth $1.09 billion, the fourth largest jackpot in history, according to Powerball officials.
The drawing will be held at 10:59 p.m. Wednesday at the Tallahassee Florida Lottery draw studio. Advertisement
In 2022, a ticket purchased in California won the largest Powerball jackpot in history, valued at $2.04 billion.
Wednesday’s drawing follows the March 27 $1.13 billion MegaMillions jackpot win by a ticket purchased in Michigan.
If a ticket matches the numbers on the five white balls and one red Powerball during Wednesday’s drawing, the person holding the winning ticket will have the choice between being paid in installments or in a lump payout, known as the “cash value.”
The cash value for Wednesday’s drawing is $527.3 million.
