The Arizona Cardinals fired head coach Jonathan Gannon after three seasons, they announced Monday.

Gannon’s Cardinals went 15-36 over the last three years, including 3-14 in 2025-26. The Cardinals allowed the sixth-most yards this season under Gannon, who previously worked as the defensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Cardinals’ defense never ranked inside the Top 20 over the last three years. It allowed the eighth-most rushing yards and ninth-most passing yards in 2025-26.

The 2025-26 Cardinals had the No. 19 offense in the NFL, with the second-worst rushing attack in the league. They totaled the most passing attempts and seventh-most passing yards in the NFL.

The Cardinals are to pick third in the 2026 NFL Draft, behind the Las Vegas Raiders (3-14) and New York Jets (3-14).
