The Baltimore Ravens agreed to a three-year extension with defensive tackle Travis Jones, the team announced Thursday.
Sources told NFL Network, ESPN and The Athletic that the pact is worth $40.5 million and includes $25 million in guarantees.
Jones, who joined the Ravens in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft, was to become a restricted free agent — instead of an unrestricted free agent — this off-season because he failed to report to 2025 training camp on time. The NFLPA filed a grievance over his contract status, with a hearing planned for Thursday before his agreement with the Ravens.
Jones, 26, totaled 34 combined tackles, six tackles for a loss, two passes defensed, 1.5 sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery through 12 starts this season.
The 6-foot-4, 341-pound defensive lineman totaled 136 combined tackles, 15 tackles for a loss and five sacks through his first 61 appearances.
The Ravens (6-7) sit in second place in the AFC North, behind the division-leading Pittsburgh Steelers (6-7). They are at No. 9 in the AFC standings, just behind the seven-team playoff field.
The Ravens will face the Cincinnati Bengals (4-9) at 1 p.m. EST Sunday in Cincinnati.
