Los Angeles Chargers Pro Bowl quarterback Justin Herbert and pop star Madison Beer are engaged, the couple announced Tuesday on Instagram.
Herbert popped the question in an arbor, surrounded by trees and flowers.
“Meet my fiance,” Beer wrote for the caption on a series of photos, which featured Herbert on one knee and a sign reading: “Mr. and Mrs. Herbert.”
Herbert, 28, and Beer, 27, went public with their relationship in 2025. Since then, they have been spotted together throughout Southern California, including at Chargers games.

Herbert also made his music video debut in May when he featured in footage for Beer’s Lovergirl.
The Chargers quarterback, who is entering his seventh NFL season, signed a five-year, $262.5 million contract extension in 2023. Chargers veterans reported to training camp Tuesday in El Segundo, Calif.
The Chargers will face the Houston Texans in their preseason opener Aug. 13 in Houston. They will host the Arizona Cardinals in their regular season opener Sept. 13 in Inglewood, Calif.
