Tuesday’s Google Doodle salutes all U.S. military members.
“The Doodle was created by Florida-based, Navy veteran guest artist, Kristin Cronic. The artwork is centered on the theme of ‘coming home,’ depicting a commemoration wall in a veteran’s home,” Google said on its website.
“This tradition reminds us of our national promise to support veterans long after their military service is complete.”
The hand-painted Veterans Day artwork spells out “Google” using familiar patriotic symbols like the folded American flag, a poppy, the image of a bald eagle and service medals.
Underneath the Doodle is the message, “We’re proud to offer free career resources for veterans who’ve served our nation,” alongside a link.
