CeeDee Lamb, James Conner, Terry McLaurin and Nick Bosa were among the NFL players injured in Week 3 of the 2025 NFL season. Those hurt will be evaluated over the next week.

New York Giants running back Tyrone Tracy Jr., Los Angeles Chargers running back Najee Harris and Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans were among the other players to sustain injuries in Week 3.

Lamb sprained his left ankle in the first quarter of the Dallas Cowboys’ 31-14 loss to the Chicago Bears on Sunday in Chicago. He was later ruled out.

The Cowboys wide receiver, who is to undergo an MRI on Monday, told reporters that he thinks he can play through the injury. A source told NFL Network that the Cowboys believe the injury is a high-ankle sprain, which could result in a multiple-week absence.

Cowboys defensive tackle Kenny Clark (ankle) and cornerback Trevon Diggs (shoulder) also sustained injuries, but Schottenheimer said he believes both players “will be OK.”

Bears tight end Colston Loveland sustained a hip injury in the second quarter. Loveland logged one catch for 31 yards against the Cowboys.

The Bears (1-2) will face the Las Vegas Raiders (1-2) on Sunday in Las Vegas. The Cowboys (1-2) will host the Green Bay Packers (2-1) on Sunday in Arlington, Texas.

The Raiders lost tight end Michael Mayer to a concussion in their 41-24 loss to the Washington Commanders on Sunday in Landover, Md. McLaurin sustained a quad injury in the second half. Commanders safety Will Harris also exited early due to an ankle injury. McLaurin totaled three catches for 74 yards against the Raiders.

The Commanders (2-1) will face the Atlanta Falcons (1-2) in Week 4.

Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner sustained a right ankle injury in the third quarter of a 16-15 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. He did not return. Sources told NFL Network and ESPN that the veteran running back will require season-ending surgery.

Conner totaled 37 yards from scrimmage on 12 touches before his exit. Backup running back Trey Benson logged 51 yards from scrimmage on 13 touches.

Emari Demercado and Bam Knight are the only other running backs listed behind Conner on the Cardinals’ depth chart. 49ers edge rusher Nick Bosa injured a knee in the first quarter of the win. He did not return.

Coach Kyle Shanahan said the 49ers checked to see if Bosa tore an ACL, but the test did not indicate that. He said Bosa will undergo additional tests this week.

The 49ers (3-0) will host the Jacksonville Jaguars (2-1) on Sunday in Santa Clara, Calif. The Cardinals (2-1) will host the Seattle Seahawks (2-1) in Week 4.

The Jaguars lost wide receiver Dyami Brown to a shoulder injury in a 17-10 win over the Houston Texans. Texans star cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. sustained an abdomen injury.

The Texans (0-3) will host the Tennessee Titans (0-3) in Week 4.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans sustained a hamstring injury and was ruled out in the second half of a 29-27 win over the New York Jets. Buccaneers coach Todd Bowles called the injury a “tweak,” but did not provide additional details.

Evans caught four of his eight targets for 33 yards and a score.

Buccaneers defensive lineman Logan Hall (groin) and safety Christian Izien (quad) also sustained injuries.

The Jets lost linebacker Quincy Williams to a shoulder injury. Cornerback Sauce Gardner was evaluated for a head injury, but returned to the game.

The Buccaneers (3-0) will host the Philadelphia Eagles (3-0) in Week 4. The Jets (0-3) will play the Miami Dolphins (0-3) on Sept. 29 in Miami Gardens, Fla.

The Eagles lost All-Pro left tackle Lane Johnson to a neck injury in their comeback win over the Los Angeles Rams. Cornerback Adoree’ Jackson also exited early because of a groin injury.

Johnson told the Philadelphia Inquirer after the game that he expects to play against the Buccaneers.

Giants running back Tyrone Tracy Jr., sustained a shoulder injury and was ruled out in the first half of a 22-9 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Coach Brian Daboll did not rule out Tracy for Week 4.

Tracy totaled seven carries for 29 yards. Rookie backup Cam Skattebo logged 121 yards from scrimmage and a score on 16 touches.

Daboll said kicker Graham Gano also sustained a groin injury during pregame introductions. Gano made a 25-yard field goal against the Chiefs, but Daboll said his range was limited due to the injury.

The Giants (0-3) will host the Los Angeles Chargers (3-0) in Week 4. The Chiefs (1-2) will host the Baltimore Ravens (1-1).

Chargers running back Najee Harris sustained an ankle injury and was carted to the locker room in the second quarter of a 23-20 win over the Denver Broncos. Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh said preliminary exams indicated Harris sustained an Achilles injury.

Sources told NFL Network that Harris will miss the remainder of the season due to an Achilles tear. Harris totaled 28 yards on six carries. Rookie backup Omarion Hampton totaled 129 yards from scrimmage and a score on 25 touches for the Chargers.

Minnesota Vikings defensive tackle Javon Hargrave (chest), Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce (concussion) and Cincinnati Bengals running back Samaje Perine (thumb) were among the other NFL players injured in Week 4.

The Ravens (1-1) will host the Detroit Lions (1-1) in the Week 3 finale at 8:15 p.m. EDT Monday in Baltimore.
