The Las Vegas Raiders signed safety Isaiah Pola-Mao to a contract extension, they announced Monday.

Pola-Mao, 25, totaled a career-high 89 combined tackles, five passes defensed, two tackles for a loss, two forced fumbles and a sack over 17 games last season. He earned AFC Defensive Player of the Week honors in Week 16, when he registered a career-best 11 combined tackles and two forced fumbles in a 19-14 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Pola-Mao logged 129 combined tackles, six passes defensed, five tackles for a loss, three sacks, two forced fumbles and an interception through his first three seasons with the Raiders.
The former USC playmaker — and nephew of Hall of Fame safety Troy Polamalu — joined the Raiders in 2022 as an undrafted free agent.
