Patrick Mahomes, Micah Parsons and Davante Adams were among the NFL players injured in Week 15. Injured players will be evaluated this week to determine potential timelines for return.
Rome Odunze, Bam Knight, Samaje Perine, Woody Marks and Derek Stingley were among other players injured in Week 15.
The Kansas City Chiefs announced that Mahomes sustained a season-ending torn ACL in his left knee in the fourth quarter of a 16-13 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday in Kansas City, Mo. He is exploring surgical options.
“Don’t know why this had to happen,” Mahomes wrote Sunday on X. “And not going to lie, it hurts. But all we can do now is trust in God and attack every single day over and over again.
“Thank you Chiefs kingdom for always supporting me and for everyone who has reached out and sent prayers. I will be back stronger than ever.”

Mahomes completed 16 of 28 passes for 189 yards and an interception against the Chargers. He also ran for a score.
The six-time Pro Bowl selection, three-time Super Bowl winner, two-time All-Pro and two-time MVP completed 62.7% of his throws for 3,587 yards, 22 scores and 11 interceptions over 14 starts this season.
Backup quarterback Gardner Minshew, who will start for the Chiefs going forward, completed 3 of 5 passes for 22 yards and an interception. Chris Oladokun is the practice squad quarterback for the Chiefs, who were eliminated from playoff contention with Sunday’s loss.
“I can’t tell you I’m happy,” Chiefs coach Andy Reid told reporters. “It’s a tough deal when you deal with that. At the same time, we’ve got a few more games here we’ve got to take care of.”
Chiefs offensive lineman Jaylon Moore (knee) and wide receiver Tyquan Thornton (concussion) also sustained injuries in the setback. The Chargers lost safety R.J. Mickens to a shoulder injury.
The Chiefs (6-8) will face the Tennessee Titans (2-12) in Week 16.

Green Bay Packers pass rusher Micah Parsons sustained a serious left knee injury in the third quarter of a 34-26 loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday in Denver.
Sources told NFL Network, ESPN and NBC that the belief is that Parsons tore the ACL in his left knee, which would end his season. Parsons, who joined the Packers in an August trade from the Dallas Cowboys, totaled 12.5 sacks, 41 combined tackles, 12 tackles for a loss and two forced fumbles over 14 appearances this season.
“It was a double whammy for us,” Packers coach Matt LaFleur told reporters. “Losing some pieces that are critical for our success. But that’s the name of the game. I told the guys ‘nobody is going to feel sorry for us. We’ve got to rally around one another and everybody is going to have to elevate their play.'”

Watson logged three catches for 29 yards in Sunday’s loss. The Packers (9-4-1) will play the Chicago Bears (10-4) on Saturday in Chicago.
Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze was ruled out before facing the Cleveland Browns because of a foot injury he aggravated during pregame warmups. Fellow Bears wide receiver Luther Burden III sustained an ankle injury and departed in the second half of the 31-3 victory Sunday in Chicago.
Burden caught six passes for 84 yards. Bears coach Ben Johnson said the injured players would be evaluated this week to determine the extent of their issues. He did not elaborate when asked if Odunze’s injury would end his season.
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Davante Adams sustained a hamstring injury in the fourth quarter of a 41-34 win over the Detroit Lions on Sunday in Inglewood, Calif.
Adams caught four passes for 71 yards in the victory. Rams coach Sean McVay said he “can’t imagine that’s good” when asked about Adams’ availability for Week 16, but stopped short of ruling him out for the game.
The Rams (11-3) will face the Seattle Seahawks (11-3) in a crucial NFC West divisional matchup on Thursday in Seattle.
Arizona Cardinals running back Bam Knight sustained an ankle injury in the first quarter of a 40-20 loss to the Houston Texans. He logged just one carry for negative-2 yards. The Cardinals also lost wide receiver Andre Baccellia (neck) and linebacker Cody Simon (knee) in the setback.

Marks totaled 38 yards from scrimmage on eight touches in the victory. Fellow Texans running back Jawhar Jordan, who made his NFL debut, totaled 118 yards from scrimmage on 17 touches.
Texans coach DeMeco Ryans said Marks could’ve returned to the game. The Texans (9-5) will host the Las Vegas Raiders (2-12) in Week 16.
