Anyone in need of some extra holiday cash might want to check the winning Powerball numbers, which were drawn Monday night, to see if they won the jackpot worth $1.6 billion.
It is not known yet if any ticket holders scored a win to claim the fourth largest jackpot in the game’s history and fifth largest of all U.S. lottery jackpots.
Monday’s winning Powerball numbers were 3, 18, 36, 41 and 54. The Powerball was 7 and the Power Play multiplier was 2x.
There has been no grand-prize winner for the past 45 drawings.
If there is a Powerball winner this time, they will be able to choose between an annual payout or a lump-sum prize. Monday’s $1.6 billion jackpot would turn into a $735.5 million one-time prize, before taxes.
The odds of winning a Powerball jackpot are one in 292.2 million, according to the lottery, with the chances increasing for smaller prizes.
The next Powerball drawing is set for Wednesday, Christmas Eve.
