Jordan Love and Caleb Williams are among my five must-start fantasy football quarterbacks for Week 4 of the 2025 NFL season.
Patrick Mahomes, Geno Smith and Tua Tagovailoa are among my other must-start options. Josh Allen leads my Top 20 fantasy football quarterback rankings for Week 4, which are listed below.
Lamar Jackson, Love, Jalen Hurts and Williams join Allen in the Top 5 of my rankings. Mahomes, Justin Herbert, Bo Nix, Baker Mayfield and Smith are my other Top 10 plays.
Make sure to adjust fantasy football lineups before Week 4 kickoffs.
My Week 4 running back and wide receiver rankings are available here. All positional rankings will be updated until kickoffs. My top free agent/waiver wire targets article can be found here.
Players also will be removed from or adjusted within the rankings based on injuries.
Jordan Love
Love is my No. 3 quarterback for Week 4. The Green Bay Packers passer threw multiple touchdown passes in two of his first three games this season. This week, Love and the Packers will face the Dallas Cowboys.
The Cowboys, who allowed the most fantasy points to quarterbacks last season, also surrendered the most points to the position through the first three weeks of 2025. They allowed a league-high 300 passing yards per game so far this season. They surrendered combined seven passing scores to Caleb Williams and Russell Wilson over the last two weeks.
Williams threw for 298 yards and four scores against this unit in Week 3. Wilson amassed 450 passing yards and threw three scores in Week 2.
Look for Love to throw for at least 300 yards and three scores against this vulnerable secondary.
Caleb Williams
The aforementioned Williams averaged the third-most fantasy points per game among quarterbacks so far this season. He accounted for multiple scores in each of his first three starts of 2025, including his Week 3 outburst against the Cowboys.
This week, Williams and the Bears will take on the Las Vegas Raiders, who allowed multiple touchdowns to quarterbacks over each of their last two games. I expect Williams to throw for at least 250 yards and two scores in this meeting. He is my No. 5 play.
Patrick Mahomes
Mahomes is likely never leaving your lineup, but he could be a big-time difference maker this week in what should be a high-scoring meeting with the Baltimore Ravens.
The Kansas City Chiefs star has yet to throw multiple touchdown passes in a game this season, but threw for and ran for a score in two of his first three starts.
The Ravens allowed quarterbacks to account for multiple scores in two of their first three games, including 394 passing yards and four scores from Josh Allen in Week 1.
Mahomes is a near-lock for 250 passing yards. He could finish the week as a Top 5 option if he accounts for more than one touchdown.
Geno Smith
Smith is my No. 10 fantasy football play for Week 4. The Raiders veteran totaled the fourth-most fantasy points among quarterbacks in Week 3, when he threw for 289 yards and three scores in a loss to the Washington Commanders.
This week, the Raiders will take on a Bears defense that allowed the third-most fantasy points and a league-high eight passing scores to quarterbacks through three games. That stretch included a three-touchdown effort from J.J. McCarthy and 334 yards and five passing scores from Jared Goff.
Look for this to be another high-scoring matchup, with Smith and Bears quarterback Caleb Williams each providing fantasy football QB1 value.
Tua Tagovailoa
Tagovailoa is a fringe QB1 option this week due to his inconsistent play so far this season. The Miami Dolphins quarterback threw two passing scores in each of his last two games, but totaled the 23rd-most passing yards (575) so far this season.
I expect Tagovailoa to throw for at least 225 yards in this meeting. He should provide low-end QB1 value if accounts for two scores.
Tagovailoa is my No. 11 option and can be used as a streamer if your typical starter has a tough matchup or is out with an injury.
